Returns & Reprints

The honest policy.

Every wrap is custom-manufactured for your specific vehicle. We can’t resell it to anyone else, which is why our policy is tighter than your average e-commerce return — but standard for the wide-format print industry.

The short version

  • No cash refunds on custom-printed wraps.
  • Free reprints for our errors, print defects, and transit damage.
  • Approval kills design returns — once you approve the proof, production starts.

When we reprint at no charge

  • Print defect
    Banding, color shift, lamination flaw, contamination. Our problem, our cost. Email orders@printyourwraps.com with photos.
  • Template mismatch we caused
    If the panel doesn’t fit because of a template error on our end, we reprint the affected panel. We’ll need proof: photos of the wrap laid out next to the panel mismatch.
  • Transit damage
    File a claim within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the box, the panels, and any visible damage. We’ll reprint affected panels and re-ship insured.
  • "We never produced it"
    If something goes wrong before production and we cancel the order on our end, you get a full refund. This is rare.

When we don't refund or reprint

  • You changed your mind after approval
    Once you approve the final proof, your wrap goes into production within hours. We can’t pull it back. Look carefully at the proof before approving.
  • Template mismatch caused by bad order photos
    We require VIN + year/make/model + 4-angle photos of your actual vehicle at order time. If the photos you submitted were missing, blurry, or wrong-vehicle and that’s why the panel doesn’t fit — that reprint is on you. Submit good photos.
  • Bad install
    We don’t install your wrap. If a local installer damages it during install, that’s between you and them. We strongly recommend 3M or Avery certified installers.
  • Color expectations
    Screen color and printed vinyl color are not identical. Our designers will note any colors that may shift in print on your proof. Brand-critical colors? Order a swatch first (contact us).

The transit-damage window

Most damage claims are easy: take photos at delivery, email them within 48 hours, we reprint. After 48 hours we lose our ability to file with the shipping carrier, which is why the window is firm.

Photos we need: the unopened box (showing damage), the box opened, and each damaged panel laid flat with the damage clearly visible.

How to start a reprint claim

Email orders@printyourwraps.com with:

  • Your order ID (in your confirmation email)
  • What went wrong
  • Photos

We’ll reply within one business day. Reprints typically ship within 5–7 business days of approval.
